Opening A Day
To refresh your memory or introduce you to an interesting opening animation sequence, I submit to you the opening animation sequence from the 1988 Moeru! Oniisan television series. The theme song is “Dreamy Dreamer” performed by Yuko Ishikawa.
Just for reference, I’m concentrating on highlighting unusual and interesting opening animation sequences from unlicensed, no-longer-licensed, or somewhat forgotten series. I’m also only spotlighting opening sequences from shows that I’ve watched.

So, it’s the latest of John¡s challenges to the fansub community? It would be grat if some group could do an anime as obscure as this.

If I recall correctly, I only watched the first episode of Moero! Oniisan, but I thought it was pretty amusing.
Just for reference, the show itself doesn’t use the unusual “California Crisis” style of color and art design that appears in some of the opening.
