Opening A Day
|To refresh your memory or introduce you to an interesting opening animation sequence, I offer the opening of last year’s Zoku Natsume Yuujin Chou TV series. The theme song is “Ano hi Time Machine” performed by LONG SHOT PARTY.

Love this show!
oh yeah, Mushishi Lite. In all seriousness I’ve become a bit of a follower of this show’s director (and his Brain’s Base-produced shows), watching Durarara and blasting through Baccano just recently. I was surprised to discover he also did Hyper-Police back in the day… a small personal favorite of mine. I’m looking forward to Kuragehime later this year.
Natsume Yuujinchou was a neat show. It was predictable, almost formulaic, with unstellar production values but you just didn’t care. It had such a nice feel to it, it could be on its 100th episode now and I’d still be watching.
I enjoyed the eyecatches as well, enough to make a couple compilation videos of them– http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHHUGKSSvJk&hd=1
That’s a lovely opening sequence.
