Perfect Grade Models to be Rereleased

Bandai of Japan has announced that they will be officially rereleasing three of their highly sought after Perfect Grade model kits this August. The Mobile Suit Gundam RX-78-2, both versions of the Jion Zaku II, and the Evangelion Unit 01, originally released as a limited edition kit at the end of 1997, will return to store shelves in August. The Perfect Grade series model kits are significantly more expensive than even the Bandai Master Grade series kits, but represent the utmost quality and detail in plastic injection molded model kits. The MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam and Gundam Wing Zero Perfect Grade models, which haven’t yet been officially discontinued, but are now quite rare, will not be reissued this summer.
