Ping Pong Anime Announced

Experimental anime director Masaaki Yuasa (Mind Game, Kick Heart) will direct a TV series adaptation of Taiyo Matsumoto’s 1996-1997 manga series Ping Pong for the Fuji TV network’s Noitamina programming block. The acclaimed teen comedy was adapted into a hit live-action feature film in 2002. Tatsunoko Productions will animate the series for an April premiere.
