Production I.G. Announces New Production

Anime News Network reports that Production I.G. will officially announce production of a 24 episode historical action/horror anime television series on March 23rd, at the Tokyo Anime Fair. While the anime is currently untitled, its manga version will be titled “Chevalier D’Eon.” The adventures of historical diplomat and spy Le Chevalier d’Eon, Charles de Beaumont (1728-1810) will be fictionalized with supernatural action and violence for the manga and anime.
