Retailers Boycott Video Game

Wal-Mart, Toys R Us and KB Toys have all officially announced that they will not carry Acclaim’s upcoming BMX XXX game for the PS2. Best Buy has also joined the boycott but remains willing to carry a censored version of the game, if a censored version is created.

BMX XXX, scheduled for release on November 20th, is a BMX bicycle riding simulation/action game that features “topless girls, prostitutes, crack smokers, dog poop, midget clowns, and mounds upon mounds of swearing (all crafted by Hollywood’s top comedic writers, as Acclaim takes pains to point out).”
