Hopefully this will inspire Viz (or anyone) to license this and get it over here. It has Inuyasha in it, which is almost like printing money for them.
It’d be nice if they put out those CPM OVAs on DVD….
This must become licensed over here. I’ll buy it just to see Akane beating the snot out of Ranma while sound asleep.
BAH. I’m still waiting for the Urusei Yatsura manga to be properly licensed (as it SHOULD be)… This is exciting to see new animation, but I still want the manga!
It’s licensed. Viz just doesn’t want it to fail again. Of course, if they re-released it in those $10 editions, it might at least do as well as Maison Ikkoku and One Pound Gospel.
Holy crap, Ataru’s in there! ;-; I missed you, man. Strange that there are no Maison Ikkoku cameos, though.
I didn’t know Onna-Ranma could do a super-saiyan attack later in the series. It kind of defeats the whole purpose of her training, though, since she’s supposed to be about hand-to-hand combat.
Regrettably, the original Rumic World OVAs have not been released on DVD even in Japan, which is odd considering that Mermaid’s Scar got a TV series that is on DVD, and One Pound Gospel got a live action TV series just a few years ago.
