Sailor Moon S Translation

Sailor Moon S has revealed the relation between Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune in the domestic translation of the series. Michiru and Haruka, translated as Michelle and Amara, had an implied lesbian romantic relationship in the original Japanese version of the series. In the translated version airing on Cartoon Network, they are cousins, presumably explaining why the pair are always together.
