Sakura Wars Petition

The upgraded Dreamcast re-issue of Sakura Taisen 2 goes on sale in Japan on September 21. Like the first game, the second will come out in a normal and limited edition versions.

A group of devoted fans have begun collecting signatures to show their support and desire for an American translation and Dreamcast release of the first Sakura Wars game. In order for the on-line petition to carry any weight with American game publishing companies, it must have at least 1000 names. Currently the petition already has over 950 supporters. If you are interested in seeing one of the world’s best strategy RPG/dating simulation games come to the US, or if you simply want to show your support of Sakura Wars, please take a moment to add your name to the petition. Even if you have no interest in the Dreamcast Sakura Wars game, signing the petition will show American companies that there is a large market for Sakura Wars in the US, and possibly increase the chances of the second Sakura Taisen OAV series, television series, and the Color Gameboy game coming to America.
