Akadot has opened the voting in its second annual “anime academy awards” recognition, dubbed the “Akars Awards.” The nominations this year are heavily dominated by Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Blood: The Last Vampire, Jin-Roh, and the Utena movie.
