Sega Games Making a Comeback

Sega announced a list of new Sega AGES games for the Playstation 2. Each remake of a classic older Sega game will retail in Japan for 2500 yen.

The remake of Phantasy Star will feature tremendously enhanced graphics, 3D dungeons, and new combat system, characters and items. The Sega AGES versions of Space Harrier, Fantasy Zone and Golden Axe will be entirely original games/sequels.

Cool Net Entertainment has announced plans to re-release the Dreamcast titles Rent A Hero No. 1, Illbleed, Dynamite Deka 2 and Blue Stinger on the Japanese Xbox next spring. Plans call for Cool Net to port as many as 50 former Sega titles to the Xbox.
