Sentai Acquires Medaka Box & Queen’s Blade Rebellion

Sentai Filmworks has announced its acquisition of domestic distribution rights to the current Medaka Box anime television series. Crunchyroll is presently streaming the Gainax adaptation of the school action/comedy manga by NisiOisin & Akira Akatsuki. Sentai will begin digital distribution of the series “soon,” followed by a home video release.

Sentai has also acquired distribution rights to the current third season of the Queen’s Blade anime TV series, Queen’s Blade: Rebellion. Crunchyroll is presently streaming the series. Sentai Filmworks will stream the series “soon” then release it on home video. Sentai has not clarified whether its acquisition includes the two Queen’s Blade Premium Visual Book exclusive OVAs that serve as a prequel to the Queen’s Blade: Rebellion TV series.
