Sentai Acquires Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse

Sentai Filmworks has announced plans to begin releasing the Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse television series on domestic bilingual DVD and Blu-ray in January. The 24-episode mecha/action anime from 2012 is based on author Yoshimune Kouki’s 6-volume light novel series, which is a spin-off from AGE Soft’s 2006 PC game Muv-Luv Alternative, the sequel to the 2003 PC game Muv-Luv.

Can’t say that this is much of a surprise. “Total Eclipse” has always felt like a title for Sentai’s wheelhouse.
