IGN now hosts a streaming subtitled version of Slam Dunk episode 1 for free online viewing. No details are available regarding the licensor behind the series or whether more episodes will be forthcoming.

Toei Animation released 4 domestic DVD volumes of the Slam Dunk anime TV series in 2005 before canceling the remainder of the American release.
