Slayers DVD Box Set VHS Offer

Central Park Media has posted new information and a temporary solution for the Slayers DVD boxed set audio/video flaw on the Software Sculptors page. The Japanese language track on the Slayers DVD boxed set suffers from phase inversion, which may not bother or be noticeable to some viewers and may be very distracting to other viewers. Furthermore, roughly 50 seconds of footage is missing from the final episode of the DVD release. CPM has stated that any possible re-pressing to correct the flaws would not be possible until at least spring or summer of next year. The Software Sculptors page offers an option to add your name to a list to be contacted when and if replacement discs become available. In the meantime, CPM has extended a special offer to consumers that are unhappy with their Slayers DVD set purchase. CPM will provide unsatisfied customers with the entire first Slayers series on subtitled VHS for $20 shipped. The VHS version has no sound flaws and is totally uncut.
