Spirit of Wonder on DVD

AnimEigo has announced that their next DVD release will be The Spirit of Wonder: Miss China’s Ring. “We used this disc to test out a lot of digital restoration and enhancement techniques and the results are pretty cool,” AnimEigo reports. Spirit of Wonder is a romantic science-fiction story set in Sherlock Holmes’ England. The chapter of the manga by Kenji Tsuruta that coincides with the animation story has been collected in a graphic novel by Dark Horse comic, and is well worth checking out for its great art and sweet story.
