Squaresoft Seeks Fan Input on New Game

As part of their intention to revive the Famicom & Super Famicom Hanjuku Hero (Half-boiled Hero) game franchise, Squaresoft has announced a contest for fans to submit “egg-monster” designs. “Originally a series… [released for] the Famicom and later received a sequel on the Super Famicom, Hanjuku-Hero is a comedic simulation RPG game with a dense main character who possesses a special egg that summons monsters into the battle scene.” The Japanese PlayOnline site will soon begin accepting submissions of monster designs for possible inclusion in the game. Multiple submissions will be accepted, but each submission must be limited to a single monster with name, description, illustration, and two methods of attacks.
