Status Report on Cartoon Network Anime

According to Saiyanz Rage neither Cowboy Bebop or original Gundam have actually been canceled. Specifically Cowboy Bebop has been temporarily suspended from the Adult Swim broadcast slot as a matter of tact in response to the terrorist attack on New York City. Programming which includes any references to gunplay, terrorism, airline disasters or buildings being demolished has been temporarily removed from the Cartoon Network line-up.

Cowboy Bebop will return to the Cartoon Network on October 4th. “Gundam will be back soon.”

Cartoon Network representatives had no comment on what affect the relatively poor ratings for original Gundam may have on future broadcasts of other Gundam series on the Cartoon Network.
