According to Nausicaa.net, Tokuma International Managing Director Steve Alpert has denied that Hayao Miyazaki’s next feature film will be an adaptation of Chinese children’s novel Wo Diushile Wode Xiaonanhai (I Lost My Little Boy).

The Yomiuri News has announced that the next Ghibli film released will be a music video film titled “Sora Tobu Toshi Keikaku,” (A Flying City Plan) directed by Yoshiyuki Momose and set to music from Capsule. The short film will open theatrically on September 10th as a double bill with the live action Touch movie, an adaptation of Mitsuru Adachi’s popular manga. Studio Ghibli produced a similar music video short film, On Your Mark, in 1995.

Director Yoshiyuki Momose has helmed two “retro future style” music videos for Capsule before. Yamaha Music hosts a Windows Media format video sample of the “Portable Airport” anime music video, Ghibli’s first Capsule music video.
