Studio Ironcat Changes its Name

Domestic translated manga & comic publisher Studio Ironcat has officially changed its name to IC Entertainment as the first step in its move to broaden its coverage beyond translated manga and manga-style comics. The forthcoming new IC Entertainment will retail manga and anime character goods, import books, and imported doujinshi. The forthcoming IC Entertainment website will host multimedia files including wallpapers, mp3 music files, and webcomics by US and Japanese artists.

IC Entertainment will also soon begin publishing a monthly 130 page manga-style magazine containing four manga-style comic stories by previously unpublished American artists each issue. Each issue of Amerimanga will also include fanart, a poster or other promotional materials, and additional written and art content and retail for $7.99 per issue.
