The first monthly English language issue of Ghost in the Shell 2: Man Machine Interface has been released and should now be available at better comic book stores nationwide.

Toren Smith of Studio Proteus has revealed several bits of interesting information in the latest Studio Proteus letters column:

The monthly comic book issues of Ghost in the Shell 2: Man Machine Interface will include artwork and supplemental material that will probably not be included in any future collected English language graphic novel editions.

The Intron Depot artbook collecting Masamune Shirow’s recent cyberpunk artwork is complete and will be published soon. Studio Proteus is currently developing Intron Depot volumes 4 & 5. One of the forthcoming American Intron Depot art collection books may be an uncensored collection of Shirow’s adults only artwork.
