According to a post on Anime on DVD’s forum, Super Techno Arts, the American branch of Japanese production company Studio A.P.P.P. (Hong Lang, Ima Soku ni Iru Boku, Kacho Ohjii), is preparing its debut into the American market with the original Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures OAV series. According to the Anime on DVD post, “the rep from Super Techno Arts commented that the series could be released this year during the summer or fall on DVD. As of now, they are currently looking at several DVD mastering houses to do the work. Please note that this DVD release date is tentative. The DVD will feature Japanese with English subtitles, and an English dub track.” Apparently, supplementary features on the DVD release could include “interviews with the Japanese production staff and the Skywalker Sound production staff, along with animation storyboards. Again, the rep commented that this is all tentative.”

Furthermore, a Super Techno Arts representative stated that they would like to release Robot Carnival on DVD in the US, and are even considering a new Robot Carnival film for the Japanese market, but all of this is still very tentative.
