Sutegataki Hitobito Live-Action Film to Premiere Next Month

Actor & director Hideo Sakaki’s live-action film Sutegataki Hitobito, based on George Akiyama’s 1996-1999 comedy/drama manga, will premiere on October 17 at the Tokyo International Film Festival before opening in Japanese wide theatrical release next year. The manga revolves around a poor, unemployed middle-aged man obsessed with sex who returns to his hometown and forms a relationship with the only woman who doesn’t judge him. The film stars Nao Omori (Ichi the Killer) and Hitomi Miwa (Otaku in Love).
