Synch-Point Productions Announced
|Los Angeles based Synch-Point Productions, the animation branch of Digital Manga, Inc., has announced their impending entry into domestic anime translation and distribution with the two titles Tenshi ni Narumon and FLCL. Tenshi ni Narumon, to be known in the US as “I’m Gonna Be An Angel” is a 26 episode shoujo comedy/drama from 1999. FLCL, pronounced “Furi Kuri,” is the most recent 6 episode OAV production from Gainax Studio. Both series are quite “odd,” to say the least, and very popular among fans of import anime. No detail on translation or home video format has been revealed yet.
