Thundercats Anime Teaser
In case you haven’t seen this, here’s the Cartoon Network’s first teaser for the Warner Bros. produced, Studio 4°C animated Thundercats revival.
I’m not saying that this looks bad, but I do think that a sizeable chunk of this footage does look and feel a little bit lifeless and bland.

The original was very much a product of its time. Light on story, underplayed violence, a hint of sexuality through skimpy costumes, and a mundane moral at the end. The trailer suggests that they are simply taking the characters and putting them in a broadly defined shounen anime.
