The ReVolution Of Evangelion fan site now hosts an exclusive 90 minute video interview with voice actress Tiffany Grant, the English language voice of Evangelion character Asuka Langley. The interview includes discussion of the original Eva TV series, the Director’s Cuts, End of Eva, her thoughts on Rebuild of Evangelion including surprising comments on how she thinks Rebuild 2.0 will be licensed, her chances on reprising her character, Eva on [adult swim], live-action Evangelion, and of course, Asuka.

No offense intended, but that lady is way too OLD to be a convincing live action Asuka.
Wow, just skimming through the last one so far, but I *always* knew Evangelion was bullshit, because there’s no fucking way a pseudo-intellectual like Anno would indulge in garbage like Ebichu and the live-action Cutey Honey. In fact, I actually had to deal with that sort of fandom at the top of the anime food chain, as I remember a guy who worked for Geneon who tried to argue that I didn’t “get” it, and had his own copy of the Kabbalah just to look smarter than he really was. BTW, can Evantologists also be lumped in with Tarantino, Whedon, and Matthew Vaughn fans? Pretty please.
kyouki, I think (hope. pray) she’s talking about reprising her role as Asuka’s VA in the Eva 2.0 release.
Yes she is talking about reprising her role in 2.0, not the live action movie. Tiffany Grant and her husband, Matt Greenfield, seem to know alot about how the film’s production is going, so they’re going to ask some questions about it.
Also, Adult Swim is not making the Live-Action movie either, they’re referring to the time when Eva first aired on [AS].
