Toei Cancels Current Releases?

Anime on DVD has theorized, based on available evidence, that Toei has indefinitely delayed the release of its current domestic anime releases- Air Master and Slam Dunk. DVD volumes of both titles scheduled for release this month have not been released, and no future volumes have been solicited.

Toei’s first foray into domestic anime DVD production and distribution was met with intense criticism from fans citing poor DVD quality- bad DVD design and sub-par subtitles.
