Toei to Emphasize Anime Distribution in Latin America

Papo de Budega reports that Toei Animation president & COO Yosuke Kobayashi and Director Kaz Yamashita visited Brazil. During a press conference, the pair expressed interest in encouraging further anime broadcast on free broadcast TV in Brazil and Latin America, including a possible future broadcast of the 4Kids edit of One Piece.

Yamashita also revealed that Toei Animation has delayed its new Rose of Versaille anime film from a late 2007 release until 2009 in order to allow animators more time to work on the picture.
