Tokyo Ghoul Anime Announced

The advertising obi found on new copies of the tenth volume of Sui Ishida’s horror manga Tokyo Ghoul reveals that the series will be getting an anime adaptation. The manga series, which premiered in 2011, is set in a present day Tokyo held in a grip of fear due to a rash of mysterious “ghouls” that randomly attack and consume people. Publisher Shueisha released a short animated commercial for the manga last July:
