TOKYOPOP Acquires Ikkitousen Manga

TOKYOPOP has revealed its acquisition of Yuji Shiozaki’s manga serial Ikkitousen (“Strength of a Thousand”). The action manga, which presents present day teen street fighters as the reincarnations of ancient Chinese warriors, is the basis of the Ikkitousen anime TV series. TOKYOPOP will be releasing the series in America under the very “Americanized” title “Battle Vixens.”
