Toonami Shakeup

There will be a new schedule for all three Cartoon Network Toonami blocks (Toonami, Midnight Run, and Rising Sun) beginning next week.

Monday through Fridays:

4 PM: Gundam Wing
4:30 PM: Sailor Moon

Monday through Thursdays:

5 PM: Dragon Ball Z
5:30 PM: Tenchi
6 PM: Batman
6:30 PM: Superman

Fridays at 5 PM: Toonami Movies (The First Four):

November 10: Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz
November 17: Batman/Superman: World’s Finest
November 24: DBZ: The World’s Strongest
December 1: Batman: Mask of the Phantasm

The week night Midnight Run will feature a new lineup. The uncut version of Gundam Wing will leave the Toonami lineup, and Tenchi will be added to the block. It will not be unedited, but may possibly turn out to be a less edited version. Dragon Ball Z will be shown at 12:00 AM, and Tenchi will be shown at 12:30 AM.

The Saturday Morning Rising Sun will be changed either on November 11th or November 18th. Gundam Wing will be shown at 12:00 PM, followed by Dragon Ball Z at 12:30 PM. One schedule shows Batman/Superman taking over the Thundercats hour on Rising Sun at 10 AM, while another shows Thundercats staying on. One schedule shows Sailor Moon leaving Saturdays and in it’s place, the North American television debut of Outlaw Star starting on November 11 at 11 AM, while another shows Sailor Moon back to back with Tenchi.

ReBoot’s last week on the block, for the present time, will be the week of November 6th.
