Top Cow News from Wizard World

At last weekend’s Wizard World convention, American comic book company Top Cow announced that FUNimation will distribute the current Witchblade anime television series in America. Top Cow also confirmed that development of the Aphrodite IX anime movie is still active. The anime will be a 98 minute movie that will likely get a theatrical release in Europe and possibly Japan before going straight to DVD in the US sometime in 2007 or 2008.
