Toycom Announcements of Future Toy Releases

Toycom announced at the recent San Diego Comic Convention that their action figures based on Ghost In The Shell 2: Man-Machine Interface are due out this fall with a suggested retail price of $17-20 each. Only one variant version figure is planned, a Suncoast Video “Chrome” exclusive of the Motoko Armaki “Fire Wall” figure. Toycom is not going to go into the mass variant direction they took with their previous Ghost In The Shell action figure line, due to the fact that in 2002 fans will be offered figures of Kia Asamiya’s Steam Detectives and Katsumi Liqueur and Kiddy Phenil of Silent Mobius, along with a new toy line based on Escaflowne.
