Trans Arts Files for Bankruptcy

Anime studio Trans Arts filed for bankruptcy on March 30, 2012. The studio was founded in 1967 and has produced anime including The Prince of Tennis, Ike! Ina-chuu Takkyuubu, and Medarot Damashii. The studio collaborated with Production I.G on the production of the Kemono no Souja Erin TV series, Chocolate Underground web series, and Loups=Garous motion picture.
