TriStar Negotiating for Cowboy Bebop Movie

Anime News Network has confirmed that TriStar Pictures, the American licensor of Metropolis, is currently negotiating for the English language distribution rights to the Cowboy Bebop motion picture. At the present time, though, since negotiations are not complete, there is no American license for the film and therefore no current concrete plans for an American theatrical or home video release. Announcements of both will likely be forthcoming in the not too distant future, though.
