Tsubasa Chronicle OVA Series Announced

Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine has formally announced the release of a three episode Tsubasa -Reservoir Chronicle-: Tokyo Revelations OVA series. Each of the series’ three 25 minute episodes will be released as a bonus with the limited edition versions of Tsubasa -Reservoir Chronicle- manga volume 21, 22, and 23.

Tsubasa manga volume 21 will be released in Japan on November 16th. The limited edition version will retail at 3,360 yen and include OVA episode 1 and a DVD case designed to hold all 3 OVA DVD discs. Limited edition manga volumes 22 & 23 will be released on January 17, 2008, and March 17, 2008, at 2,980 yen each.

Although the OVA series will continue the Tsubasa Chronicle television series storyline, the OVAs will be animated by Production IG, which animated the Tsubasa Chronicle motion picture, rather than Bee Train, which animated the two TV series.
