TV Saitama Cancels Kodomo no Jikan Broadcast

One week ago the Japanese Toukai TV and TV Saitama television networks announced that they would stop airing the violent Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai anime television series immediately. (The program still continues to air on other Japanese TV networks.) Late last week, without warning, the TV Saitama network also canceled its plans to broadcast the upcoming Kodomo no Jikan anime television series, presumably because the network disapproves of the show’s theme or content. The Kodomo no Jikan television series will still debut this week from multiple Japanese television networks.
