Upcoming DVD Announcements

FUNimation will release the Dragonball Z: History of Trunks TV Special on DVD on December 12th. The disc will contain a Japanese language track, so hopefully the disc will also offer the option of watching the special with either the dubbed dialogue and American music or the Japanese dialogue and original BGM. AD Vision will also release the second of 2 Cutey Honey OAV collection DVDs on the 12th, then debut the Arc the Lad television series on VHS and DVD on January 23rd. The first Arc the Lad DVD is scheduled to contain 3 episodes and retail for $29.99. Anime Village will release Gundam W: Endless Waltz on DVD on February 6th. Urban Vision will release all four episodes of Petshop of Horrors on a single DVD, and both episodes of Sailor Victory and Rurouni Kenshin TV series volume 5, containing 5 full episodes, both from Media Blasters, will all be released on February 27th. Central Park Media has announced May 8th as the release date for the DVD version of the adult anime title Mystery of the Necronomicon.

Diamond Comics Distributors has listed February as the target release date for Anime Village’s premier of Crest of the Stars (Sekai no Monsho) but this announcement has not been confirmed or even suggested by any other reliable source.
