Upcoming DVD Releases

The second Blue Seed DVD collection (180 minutes, containing episodes 8-14) will be released March 27th. Also to be released on that date is Mixx Entertainment’s first DVD release, Spring and Chaos (Kenji’s Spring). The disc will feature English and Japanese audio, and English, Spanish, French, German, Korean, and Chinese subtitles. Other features of the disc will include an interview with director Shoji Kawamori and an introduction to author Kenji Mayazawa, the author whose life Kenji’s Spring is based on. The 60 minute feature will retail for $29.99.

Bandai has altered the previously announced release schedule for the Escaflowne TV series DVDs. Instead of one disc per month, two discs will be released simultaneously bi-monthly. Discs 3 & 4 are now scheduled for release on February 6. Discs 5 & 6 will be out two months later on April 3rd, then discs 7 & 8 will be released on June 5th.

The release of the Fatal Fury OAV DVD has been delayed to February 6th.
