Update on US Release of Angel’s Egg

According to Anime News Service, Anchor Bay Entertainment, known for the emphasis on releasing obscure, foreign and cult cinema on VHS and DVD, has confirmed, “We don’t have a scheduled date yet, but we are still hoping to release Angel’s Egg in the next couple of years.”

Anchor Bay first confirmed in early 2000 that they are in possession of the American translation and distribution rights to Mamoru Oshii’s classic surreal fantasy.
