Urban Vision Announces Live Action Label

Urban Vision has formally announced a new distribution label called “AsiaVision,” which will, “specialize in the theatrical and direct-to-video distribution of live-action Asian films.” The first title on the AsiaVision line, scheduled for release on March 7, 2006, will be “Curse, Death & Spirit,” a pair of made-for-television short horror films directed by Ring director Hideo Nakata. In Spring 2006, AsiaVision will release Ryuhei Kitamura’s live action samurai action film Azumi in American theaters.
