Vertical Acquires New Zombie Manga

Vertical has announced its acquisition of translation rights to Jiro Matsumoto’s 2009 manga Velveteen & Mandala (Becchin to Mandala). The single volume manga is the story of two teen girls that battle zombies in a post-zombie apocalypse Tokyo. The book will debut in English in August 2011.
