Magic Box has shots of several upcoming arcade light gun shooting games, including Namco’s sniper rifle based Golgo 13 II, Gun Barret (Gun Barl 3, known in the US as the Point Blank series), and Sega’s Death Crimson OX and Ninja Assault. The same update has shots of the new Dreamcast Macross game, Macross M3, scheduled for release in Japan this winter. In this Macross flying/shooting game the story take place in-between the time of Macross and Macross Plus. The play mechanics and style of Macross M3 appear to be very similar to the Playstation VF-X 1 & 2 games.

Bandai will release Mobile Suit Gundam for WonderSwan Color in Japan in January, for 4500 yen. A Gundam battle simulation game, the story is based on the first 3 scenarios of the Mobile Suit Gundam anime series. This game will also support the WonderGate, which allows you to battle against a friend over the internet using PHS mobile phones. Rumor suggests that this game will also make use of the WonderWave, you will be able to exchange data with future Gundam games on PlayStation and PlayStation 2.
