Magic Box has some interest screen shots of Digimon Adventure 02, the new Playstation RPG due out this July. This time the game will include breeding, battle and adventure elements. You will be able to breed and train your Digimons on the PocketStation & trade Digimon or items with your friends. There will be over 200 Digimon characters in the game, each with unique abilities and attacks. This time up to 3 Digimon can merge together and transform into a much more powerful Digimon. The game will also be compatible with data exchange with the WonderSwan version of the game.

Magic Box also reports a rumor that Capcom’s Marvel Vs Capcom 2 will get a PlayStation 2 port featuring new play options and possibly as many as 20 new characters, which would bring the total up to 76 selectable characters! The new upgrade of Marvel VS Capcom 2 will also coming to arcade and possibly Dreamcast as an upgrade release.

According to the July 7th Famitsu Weekly Japanese gaming magazine, in a dramatic upgrade from the arcade version, the Dreamcast version of Capcom’s 3D action fighting game Spawn: In The Demon’s Hand, will have 36 playable characters. The arcade version had only 10 selectable characters. The Dreamcast port is due out in Japan on August 10.
