Viz Announces More Anime Artbooks

Viz has announced its intention to translate and publish more domestic anime/manga arts books.

The first book in the series, The Art of Gundam Wing is available now featuring 130 pages of character and mecha art.

The Art of Ranma ½ is slated for a July release. The collection will include original pastel, watercolor, and colored pencil artwork. Rumiko Takahashi’s Art of Inu-Yasha will be released early next year.

Yu Watase’s Art of [Ayashi no] Ceres, Celestial Legend will be released in October.

Der Mond, the soft cover domestic reprint of The Art of Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, character designer for Evangelion, Royal Space Force and Nadia, has been delayed until September.
