Voice Actor Kouji Yada Dead at 81

Veteran voice actor Kouji Yada passed away on May 1 at the age of 81 due to chronic kidney failure. Yada’s voice acting career began in 1965. He may be best known to fans as the voice of Doctor Gero in Dragon Ball Z. Yada’s other noteworthy roles include Libra Dohko in Saint Seiya and Chef Zeff in One Piece.
