Xenogears 2?

Namco has finally revealed that their top secret “Project X” will be a Playstation 2 RPG titled Xenosaga, to be created by Monolith Soft, the studio responsible for Xenogears. Tetsuya Takahashi, the producer of Xenogears, will head development of Xenosaga, and Yasunori Mitsuda, composer for Xenogears and Chrono Trigger, will return to provide the music. While it’s not been confirmed that Xenosaga is in any way related to Xenogears, the similarities seem to over to be coincidence. Xenosaga is tentatively scheduled for release in Japan this winter.
