Yu-Gi-Oh! Lawsuit Settled

4Kids Entertainment has announced that the lawsuit between itself Asatsu-DK (ADK) and TV Tokyo regarding international master rights to the Yu-Gi-Oh franchise has been amicably settled, and 4Kids will continue serving as the exclusive licensing agent for the franchise outside of Asia. TV Tokyo and Nihon Ad Systems filed suit against 4Kids in March 2011, seeking to terminate 4Kids’ licensing rights citing “underpayments, wrongful deductions, and unmet obligations” totaling over $4.7 million.
