Yu-Gi-Oh Movie Coming to America

The Asahi Newspaper has reported the intriguing news that Warner Brothers has acquired American distribution rights to the new Yu-Gi-Oh movie. (Apparently there is a new, second Yu-Gi-Oh film in the works as the article claims that international distribution rights were acquired while the film was in production.) Oddly, the article states that the Yu-Gi-Oh movie will be released in America and Europe this August, but there are no plans for a Japanese release.

Furthermore, the article states that the new Hi no Tori (Phoenix) anime TV series scheduled to premier in Japan on the 21st, has been licensed for international distribution.
